Static Reservior Models Print E-mail

Building seismic time and depth surfaces are the first step in understanding the special extent of geologic events. When such surfaces are incorporated in a 3D structured model that values the vertical and lateral variations of properties, the system is called a static model. The static model is generally populated with reservoir related properties such as N/G ratio, Well logs, fault seal and displacement. The mentioned properties are trended with geologically meaningful surfaces introduced into the model and the system is ready to run a simulation flow on it.
